Ambrose Field
Ambrose Field is a reader and senior lecturer in music at the University of York. He also composes ethereal electronic music that he has performed around the world.[1][2]
In 2006 he assembled the first electronic orchestra comprising 50 musicians using laptops, styled the "Worldscape Laptop Orchestra".[3]
He has also instantly remixed bagpipe music sent from Scotland to York by broadband.[4]
